The wealth of technical developments in all areas of logic in recent years has not diminished the need of serious philosophical reflection on the nature of logic. Indeed, there is a growing gap between the logician’s work and the philosopher’s urge to understand the scope of that work. The aim of the discussion at Round Table is to offer material toward filling that gap. The set of questions has been suggested to representatives of so-called Kiev circle of logicians. By their answers, the “Filosofska dumka” is starting a long conversation on contemporary logic issues, which actually is aimed at a dialog and further collaboration with representatives of another fields of philosophy and science. Publication of further discussion will be continued in next issues.
