The author of the article proposes that the perceptual experience should be considered on the background of epistemological and metaphysical elaborations of analytical tradition of contemporary philosophy as the action, which consists in inseparable perception and interpretation of external objects of the world by the actor (the subject of perception). Due to this, the perceptual experience should be treated as a topic of practical philosophy, the philosophy of action; it can help to prevent from well-known difficulties concerning the perception problem connected with defining the conditions of normal perceptual experience, with a necessity to distinguish between mistaken (illusion) and false (hallucination) ones.
